Pete has always worked to find balance between a productive career and a healthy lifestyle. Graduating with an MBA from the University of Utah and living in Park City, he has always been active and fitness-minded, enjoying summer hiking and winter snowshoeing.
Prior to founding LifeSpan in 2001, he worked in the technology sector with IBM, and in strategic planning and business re-engineering at American Stores, then an $18 billion grocery and drug store retailer. First-hand experience in streamlining business processes, focus on employee productivity, and systems automation paired with his personal dedication to health and wellness to eventually make LifeSpan a global leader in active workstations.
He is an active desk walker, having logging millions of steps since adapting an active-office approach to his workday. Pete supports all LifeSpan employees taking the same approach to work, and has effectively integrated motion into a productive dimension of LifeSpan’s corporate culture. His passion has come to life through his dedication to helping people live healthier, more active and longer lives.
