Chris Eschbach serves as Director of the Valencell Biometrics Lab where he coordinates internal and external clinical validation trials, supervises and executes validation testing in the lab and field, as well as contributes to the research and development of new technology related to physiological biometrics as applied to exercise, medical and military situations. Prior to joining Valencell, Chris founded the Human Performance Lab, LLC, a facility dedicated to providing physiological consulting for wellness and sports. He served as an Associate Professor at North Carolina Wesleyan College, focusing on research related to the validation of biometrics measured by sensors, range of motion, and athletic performance. Previously, he spent ten years at Meredith College as an Associate Professor and chaired the Department of Nutrition, Health, and Human Performance. Dr. Eschbach has a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology and M.S. in Human Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi, and a B.S. in Zoology from Western Illinois University.
