Shellie PfohlShellie Pfohl, appointed by President Obama in February, 2010 as Executive Director of the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition (PCFSN), has spent her career focusing on teaming government with nonprofits and the private sector, with a concentration on community health education and promotion. As Executive Director of the PCFSN, she manages the activities and operations of the President’s Council, an advisory committee to the President and the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). In addition, Ms. Pfohl leads the Council’s efforts related to First Lady Michelle Obama’s national Let’s Move! campaign to solve childhood obesity within a generation.

Seth WestcottSeth Wescott is one of the most accomplished and decorated athletes in snowboarding history highlighted by two Olympic gold medals and a World Championships title. A member of the U.S. Snowboarding team for more than a decade, Wescott is a four-time U.S. National Champion, eight-time Winter X Games medalist, and three-time World Championships medalist. The Maine native understands the importance of giving back and has been an active member of his community as a mentor and motivator at the local, regional, and state levels. An advocate for active and healthy living, Wescott has been appointed by Governor John Baldacci of Maine as an ambassador of “Take it Outside,” a state-wide initiative to encourage Maine’s children and families to reconnect with nature. Wescott also serves as a spokesperson for “WinterKids,” a program established to encourage and help young people be active, and enjoy all that winter sports have to offer in Maine. Most recently, Wescott has partnered with several other world-class athletes in support of the “Level Field Fund,” a grant-making program that bridges gaps in funding for uniquely talented athletes in need of financial assistance.
